Students will head to the Billings campus to work with master juggler Thomas Arthur – “Playing in the Zone of Flow: Contact Juggling and Mindful Motion”. He will guide students in explorations of mindful movement and positive flow states. The focus will be on contact juggling with a single sphere, three ball juggling and collaborative play. In this workshop students will learn contact juggling patterns with a focus on ways of approaching practice that harness the potential for artistic and athletic performance of any kind.
About the juggling instructor
Thomas Arthur’s 25 year performance career has brought his dance of orbiting objects and visual imagery to theaters around the world, from New York to New Zealand, from Austin to Australia. He has performed as an opening act for Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, Arlo Guthrie and many others.
